Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 4 weeks (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order is ready to be picked up or is out for delivery.
Delivery delays may be experienced due to ongoing disruptions to our supply chain which are outside of our control. Where this does occur we will contact you via text message or email, with the phone number or email address you provided at checkout to notify you of the delay.
Local delivery
Local delivery is available for orders within the following postcodes; 2500, 2502, 2505, 2506, 2508, 2515, 2516, 2517, 2518, 2519, 2525, 2526, 2527, 2528, 2529, 2530, 2533, 2535, 2557, 2558, 2559, 2560, 2563, 2567, 2568, 2569, 2570, 2571, 2572, 2573, 2574, 2575, 2576, 2577, 2578, 2579.
We will contact you via text message or email, with the phone number or email address you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.
Local delivery - Freight Partner
Local delivery for orders outside of the above postcodes but within NSW/ACT is fulfilled via our freight partners. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout and delivery timelines can vary greatly depending on the destination. We will contact you via text message or email, with the phone number or email address you provided at checkout to notify you of the estimated delivery dates.
Local delivery - Authority to leave
For our customers convenience, our packages are delivered with “Authority To Leave in a Safe/Dry Location”. When you place an order, you must make sure you give clear instructions on where the package should be left if you are not home, ensuring the location is protected from adverse weather conditions.
Your courier driver will take a photo of your delivery to verify that the package has been delivered and the exact location of delivery. You can ask to see the photo taken by emailing enquiries@thepoodleandthehen.com.
Please Note: We will NOT be able to offer any further assistance if your order is lost or subsequently goes missing after it has been deemed delivered by the courier. The associated risk in leaving parcels unattended is borne by the customer.
Local pickup
We offer a convenient local pickup option for customers who prefer to collect their order in person. Pickup is available from our designated collection point at the corner of Pheasants Nest Road and Arina Road, Bargo NSW. While we are typically available at this location each weekend, all pickups are strictly by appointment. Once your order is ready, you will receive an email from us to arrange a suitable pickup date and time.
Please ensure you bring a copy of your order confirmation when attending your pickup. Orders must be collected within an agreed timeframe unless prior arrangements have been made. If you are unable to attend your scheduled pickup, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible to reschedule.
Domestic and International Shipping
At this time, we do not offer domestic or international shipping outside of the above local delivery postcodes.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We unfortunately cannot ship to P.O. boxes given the size and weight of our product.
